[TBA -Heroes vs Villains]

Great character design

Awesome job! Loved all the character designs and scenes. Like how you focus on the eyes of the characters, don't see that very often. Would have been really cool to see voices to these characters though. But mics are hard to come by. I agree with Jonathan, you really have something here to expand on. Oh and the Easter egg ;) really cool. You have great drawing skills.

Thanks man! :) I appreciate the kind words. I guess you're right I do focus on eyes. I remember reading in a character animation course that the eyes are key to reading what's "inside" the character and getting the viewer to feel for them. :3 This is why Wall-E has huge eyes and people could relate to a metal box on wheels.

[SRM Short: Haircut]

Funny

Very cool, very simple. Like how SRM is just a blue brick, and the way you make him talk by just moving the lower part of his mouth. Good job.

Glad you liked the style. It took a while to figure out how to make him talk, since he was originally a static comic strip character.

You have talent

This is one of those rare times where I really can't think of any criticism. The story is great and original, the characters are awesome, great use of color, and the music was spot on. Defititely one of the best flashes I have seen in a while. Keep up the great work, hope to see more.

I'm probably one of my own worse critics, so I appreciate your opinion. From my stand-point, I could have made the animation much more efficiently (Took longer than needed to make). Character animation is not what I do on a daily basis (unfortunately), so I'm always catching on to better techniques/short-cuts.

That was...interesting

I really love it when someone makes their Flash original. Really love the randomness. Would have liked to see a bit more color though, but I kinda get what you were aiming for with the monotone color backgrounds. This is a really cool sketchy style you have created. Great.

Yyyes, i tried to work a little with the contrast (at first it was going to be an almost full-black-and-white thing, but then i started 'playing' with colored backgrounds).
Maybe that doesn't 'shine' in every take i did.

Random Indeed!

Great title. I love random flashes, this one made me lol. Yes, get a new mic espically if you want to keep making more flashes. Also be careful with the lining up of the voice layer and the animation layers, was a bit off. You could also try different shapes for the mouths to make the lip sync more fluid. Other than that, great job!

Love the story, really clever. Maybe could have been a bit longer with some extra gags, but overall the animation and design were pretty good.

Good, but sort of predictible

The idea was funny, the animation is above average, but a little bit predictible. Loved the creepy koo-koo clock bird.

Mostly hand drawn?! Great job!

Sounds like this was a lot of work, being done by hand, but it really paid off! The animation was really great, the story was good but kinda slow at parts. Love the classic cartoony sounds. Looks like you did a lot of sound searching for them. Job well done!

Yes, finding all the sounds was maybe the most frustrating part, but I'm glad how this turned out even though the animation progresses little slowly. Most of the stuff is drawn by hand, and I used looots of tweens to animate the characters.

I know this all too well

This was pretty good considering this was your first Flash. I really remember all the theatre blocking terminology from high school. Ahhhh...those days were the best. Great job!
